This modern classic by Phil Ward was created in 2009 at Mayahuel, an agave-centric bar in the East Village of New York (now closed). This is a slight twist on the famous Last Word; some may say it is like the Naked & Famous, though this predates the 2011 modern classic. Ward named this after the Pink Floyd album.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlmezcal
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlAperol
- ½ oz · 15 mlmaraschino liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- grapefruit peel oil
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.
- 2
Shake with ice until chilled.
- 3
Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 4
Express grapefruit peel oil over surface.
- 5
Garnish with grapefruit twist (optional).
