About
This is one of my original creations, built in an equal-parts sour format. I used See the Elephant, a rucola-style amaro made in southern Italy with arugula as its main botanical. It is bittersweet and herbal, with some unexpected tropical fruit, banana, and dark chocolate notes. The mezcal brings an earthy agave character, ginger adds warmth, and lemon keeps everything bright. The name is a nod to the amaro in the drink.Cheers y’all!
