This drink was created by Brian Maxwell (@shakerofspirits) and shows you that there are tropical/tiki drinks that can use whiskey and mezcal. This one is a flavor bomb worth trying (depending on your palate, try upping the lemon and reducing orgeat).Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlIrish whiskey
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlmezcal
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlbanana liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lemon juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlorgeat
- ½ oz · 15 mlpassionfruit syrup
- 1 dashabsinthe
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 4
Garnish with half passionfruit (optional).
