This rum Negroni riff is from Courtney McKamey (@qrtny), who created it for NYC’s Weather Up. This drink was featured in Imbibe in 2023, which is how I came across it. How can I say no to rum and banana?! This tropical take is a good option for a stirred drink as the warmer weather approaches.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlaged rum
- 1 oz · 30 mlsweet vermouth
- ½ oz · 15 mlCampari
- ½ oz · 15 mlbanana liqueur
- lime peel oil
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to mixing glass.

Stir with ice until chilled.
- 3
Strain into rocks glass over BFC.
- 4
Express lime peel over surface.
- 5
Garnish with lime twist.
