This cocktail was created by Amanda Colom (@bad_birdy), better known as Bad Birdy, as a pandan-driven riff on the Last Word. It begins with the classic’s four equal measures but replaces maraschino with pandan liqueur, then adds a little simple syrup and saline for balance. Pandan shifts the drink from cherry-almond territory toward vanilla, coconut, and fresh green aromatics, while Green Chartreuse adds an herbal edge.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlgin
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlGreen Chartreuse
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlpandan liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlsimple syrup
- 2 dropssaline solution
Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora.

Garnish with a cherry.
