This is a variation on the classic Painkiller tiki drink by Mike Agudelo (@cocktails_with_mike). The Amaro Montenegro accentuates the orange and nutmeg flavors already featured in the classic. The float of pineapple rum ties it all together.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlAmaro Montenegro
- 1½ oz · 45 mlfresh orange juice
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlpineapple juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lime juice
- 1 oz · 30 mlcoconut cream
- 1 oz · 30 mlpineapple rum, floated
- nutmeg to garnish
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Shake with small amount of ice until ice melts (“whip shake”) OR flash blend.

Pour into a glass.
- 4
Top with crushed or pebble ice.
- 5
Float pineapple rum.
- 6
Garnish with mint bouquet after slapping to express oils and fresh nutmeg.
