About
This cocktail was created by Jamie Caputa and sent to me by her husband, Lewis Caputa (@lewcapu). I’ve made a few bangers by Lewis before, including Gringo Peligroso and Indigo Eyes, so I had a feeling this one was going to be good. As most people know, I’m a bit of a banana fiend, and yes, there is probably a joke in there somewhere. The blended Scotch brings notes of vanilla, honey, citrus, and gentle spice that pair especially well with banana. Amaro Montenegro adds another layer of citrus and herbs, while the walnut bitters bring in a little nuttiness. The banana foam keeps everything soft and creamy on top, with freshly grated cinnamon tying it all together.Cheers y’all!
