Meet a classic twist on a daiquiri. This cocktail was published by Harry Craddock in 1930 in his book, “The Savoy Cocktail Book.” The template is very similar to a classic daiquiri, but orange bitters, lemon, and absinthe make it stand out. Please don’t forget the nutmeg!Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlJamaican rum
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lemon juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlrich simple syrup
- 2 dropssaline solution
- 1 dashorange bitters
- absinthe rinse
- nutmeg to garnish
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.

Garnish with fresh nutmeg and absinthe mist.
