This cocktail was created by Jason Walsh (@memoirsofnyc) and has been making the rounds on Instagram for years, and for good reason. The combination of Suze and Green Chartreuse brings a deep, earthy bitterness and layers of herbal complexity, while the pineapple rum adds a subtle tropical note without pushing it into tiki territory. All together, it’s a composed, spirit-forward sipper with real depth and balance.Cheers y'all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlpineapple rum (Planteray)
- 1 oz · 30 mlCocchi Americano
- ½ oz · 15 mlGreen Chartreuse
- ½ oz · 15 mlSuze
- lemon peel oil
Method

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.

Add ice and stir until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora.

Express lemon peel oil over the surface.
- 5
Garnish with a lemon twist.
