The way Daniel taught the class was not like something I had experienced before but was very beneficial . It was especially beneficial having the drawings and outlines to fill in since I am more of a visual learner. You can tell that he really thought of different ways to make the learning a little easier and presented in a way that it seemed like everyone could really understand and grasp.

Lot of active learning , constantly being asked questions that allowed for engagement, as well as partner work!

Daniel consistently lets us know that he is a source for us to talk to at any point in time about anything and really shows that he cares about his students and not only their academics, but their well being as a whole .

Daniel is possibly the most passionate college instructor I have ever had. His lessons are engaging and hands-on in a way that makes studying for future exams as straight forward as can be. Daniel also truly cares about his students and wants them to do well, and goes above and beyond what I usually expect of college professors to make this happen.

I am very glad that I had the privilege of taking this course with Daniel. Students are not lying when they say that this course is hard, but it felt much less daunting with an instructor as excellent as Daniel.

I appreciated your open door policy and the extra study sessions you held before exams. It seems like you really care about how well we do in your class.

There was never a point in the semester where Daniel seemed bored while teaching the course. This was super important for me because it kept me engaged.

Asking questions was always easy because he never made students feel bad for asking a question. Not-Test became fun and easy when we worked with our peers which is what he encouraged us to do.

Daniel shows up on time every day and makes sure that objectives written in the syllabus and outlines for the week are met.

“

I feel I understand the topics and ideas in this class better than probably any class I've ever taken due to the way the class was set up and because of how you teach.

“

The instructor was constantly check-in with his students to ensure he could do everything in his power to support them. You could tell that the instructor genuinely cared about each one of his students.

“

Daniel did a fantastic job making a safe space for students to ask questions and engage in the material, and was always available to help students when needed.

“

Daniel, I loved this class and was really worried after everyone told me anatomy is the hardest class they've ever taken. You really went above and beyond explaining things in simpler terms, but still having high standards for us.

“

I will always remember this class as the one science class at college that I did well in because Daniel made me feel like I was a smart student and I'm very happy for taking this course with Daniel.

He had some really funny analogies and the memes in the presentation were on point.

He is so enthusiastic and makes me want to be in class. He is always taking student feedback and improving his content.

I have never seen a professor put so much time into giving us good, helpful feedback. I hope he knows how much he is appreciated.

Literally the best lectures I have ever sat through were in this course. I wouldn't even call it a lecture because class is always so fun. I have learned more in this class than any other class I've ever taken while also having fun.

Daniel always gave visual aids and was willing to show other examples if we did not understand something. His great approachability and availability was so helpful when learning hard concepts.

Daniel is probably the best professor I have had during my time at Linfield. He was so clear on what material we needed to study and was so approachable when we had questions or needed to meet with him for any reason. His constant encouragement in class made me feel so great about taking such a hard class! I am going to be so sad not having this class anymore!

I believe he is one of the best professors at Linfield…I have never seen him mad or annoyed before, he is always in a good mood and if you to talk to him about something, he will go out of his way to make it happen. He is what makes Linfield great!

I love Daniel! I wish he could teach all my classes. Even though he teaches multiple classes, he remembers who you are. He’s not just a great professor, but someone I would feel comfortable to talk to about any problems I have on campus. Best instructor.

He always asks on weekly quizzes and in class how we are doing and provides a safe space to do so.

I love how Daniel is always willing to show us random videos on Twitter or any memes that relate to the material that we are learning in class and I find them very helpful and interactive.

Although Daniel has high expectation for his students, he gives resources and time to make it possible for every student to be successful.

Daniel is so committed to his students and job. I am not a student that loves school, and he made me love coming to class and learning.

Daniel was so fun to have as my anatomy professor. He made learning anatomy fun and never made it feel like, ‘I am going to fail this class.’

Daniel is actually one of the most organized instructors I know when it comes to lecture. He always provides course objectives and study questions, so we know exactly what we need to know for the exams.

He is amazing. Daniel provides so much material for this course that caters to an almost unlimited number of learning styles.

He may not feel this way but he leaves a positive impact on his students after every class. I especially attest to his positive impact in helping me understand what I'm struggling with in class. He was always ready to give feedback and help at any time. Even though I struggled in the class he still remains one of the best professors I've ever had. Thank You Daniel!

Professor Zajic is possibly the most enthusiastic teacher in any science department anywhere. His enthusiasm inspires students to come to class because if feels as if it is more than a class as he fascilitates class discussions and lectures in a way that makes it feel like a family where questions are positively received and answered without judgement.

I can safely say that I have never been a part of a class with as many different learning methods. Nothing was exactly the same and I absolutely loved it. I thought the outside resource integration was amazing and it really helped me learn.

I would argue that Daniel is one of the professors that makes Linfield, Linfield.

It is professors like Daniel, who feel comfortable in sharing their identity in the classroom who make Linfield safer for queer students.

Daniel is always in his office even outside of office hours which is really helpful if I have a question or just want to talk outside of office hours. I think his office is also really welcoming to everyone which is nice!

Listen. I don't know how you come to class with an upbeat attitude. Every single day. But I guess it must be how much you enjoy teaching and what you're teaching because it also made me look forward to coming to class every single day.

He does a little dance when he gets excited about a topic. Truly refreshing to see a professor love and care so much about what he teaches. The best thing about his class is that he explains everything so clearly. I also loved that he provided supplies such as highlighters and copies of outlines to help his students learn better.

Never once was a class boring with Professor Zajic. He is always energetic and positive and is a great teacher. He also was very supportive in his teaching which encouraged me to always work harder.

When registering for this course, I was really hoping to end up with a professor who could create a positive learning environment. I was so happy to see that this was the case with Daniel. Anatomy is already a lot on its own, very intimidating and intense. But, he didn’t add any extra stress…he made the material very digestible and had an understanding & encouraging attitude throughout the whole semester.

Daniel went above and beyond to help ensure that the students who wanted to succeed had the ability to succeed. He even went out of his way to help the students who didn't care much about the course. I have never met a professor or a person like him that is so caring and passionate about helping his students and helping them succeed.

Daniel did a great job of providing many different forms of content to appeal to different types of learners. There were videos, slides, and drawings that helped me learn the material. When there was a question I had kind of unrelated to the course, Daniel would find supplemental materials and things to help answer my question. He encouraged deeper thinking and learning..

I can tell that he genuinely wants to educate students and wants them to be successful. He is super understanding and takes situations into consideration.

This professor is probably one of the best professors I've had at Linfield. He made me feel very involved and not scared to ask questions.
