I’m partnering with @drinkcalvados and @laspiriteriefrancaise to share a cocktail I created using Calvados, an authentic spirit from Europe. Calvados is an apple brandy unique to Normandy, France, and it holds a European Geographic Indication (also known as PDO, Protected Designation of Origin).Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlCalvados
- 1 oz · 30 mlaged rum
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlbanana liqueur
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlallspice dram
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mldemerara syrup
- 1 dashtiki bitters
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.
- 2
Shake with ice until chilled.
- 3
Strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 4
Garnish with dehydrated apple slice (optional).
