Crashing Out
By Daniel E. Zajic
About
I first made this cocktail last fall, in the middle of working through my Promotion & Tenure file and a sabbatical application. Both are behind me now, but the drink stuck. This is a split-base rum old fashioned with layers of warm spice and chocolate notes. I didn’t do it in this video, but smoking the glass with cinnamon pushes it even further and really ties everything together.Cheers y’all!
