About
This cocktail was created by Rosalia Costello (@rosacoste) around 2018 and was later published in The Bartender’s Manifesto. Costello described it as a drink made for both tiki and amaro lovers, tying the bitter component back to her Italian heritage while still aiming for what she called “Big Summer Energy.” The equal split of overproof Jamaican rum and Amaro di Angostura gives it plenty of funk, spice, and bitterness, while lime, honey, falernum, and mint keep it firmly in refreshing tropical territory. Cheers y’all!
