About
This drink was created in 2015 by Peter Hill (@miesvanderdro). The drink and its name was inspired by a trip he took to Toronto (which he says he had no expense account). This equal parts sipper has molasses, apple, and spices. Absinthe and orange oil invite you to take a sip.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- ½ oz · 15 mlaged rum
- ½ oz · 15 mlblackstrap rum
- ½ oz · 15 mlCalvados
- ½ oz · 15 mlBénédictine
- 1 barspoonmaple syrup
- 2 dashesorange bitters
- absinthe rinse
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to mixing glass.

Stir with ice until chilled.

Strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora rinsed with absinthe.

Express orange peel oil over surface.
- 5
Garnish with orange twist.
