This swizzle was created in 2012 by Billy Helmkamp at The Whistler (Chicago, IL). It received high praise from the late and great Gaz Regan, “Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy! Billy has sold me on Tiki. Something I never thought would happen."Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 ml151-proof demerara rum
- 1 oz · 30 mlBénédictine
- ½ oz · 15 mlFernet Branca
- 1½ oz · 45 mlpineapple juice
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mldemerara syrup
- 2 dashesAngostura bitters
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to a glass.

Fill ⅔ with crushed or pebble ice.

Stir or swizzle to mix.
- 4
Top with more ice.
- 5
Garnish with mint bouquet after slapping to express oils and orchid flower.
