This cocktail was created by Matthias Soberon (@servedbysoberon). An Espresso Martini built around funky Jamaican rum is always one of my favorite directions, and this one leans into that beautifully. The allspice dram adds a warm baking spice note that plays really well with the coffee and rum, while the pinch of salt helps keep the sweetness in check.Cheers y'all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mloverproof Jamaican rum
- ½ oz · 15 mlcoffee liqueur
- 1 oz · 30 mlespresso
- ½ oz · 15 mlsimple syrup
- 1 barspoonallspice dram
- pinch of salt
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Fine strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora.

Garnish with coffee beans.
