This drink is by Erick Castro, who created it for an Amaro Montenegro event. The lime, orgeat, and rose water are reminiscent of an Infante. Amaro Montenegro as the base makes this fun and extra herbal. The rum is present but doesn’t overpower the amaro.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1¼ oz · 37.5 mlAmaro Montenegro
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlwhite overproof Jamaican rum
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlorgeat
- 3 dropsrose water
- 2–3 cucumber slices, muddled
Method

Add cucumber to shaker tin and lightly muddle.

Add remaining ingredients to tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 5
Garnish with cucumber slice.
