This cocktail was created by a Vancouver bartender for a patron by the name of Joy Pecknold. Unfortunately, Joy recently passed away in a car accident in August. Her nephew, McKinley Bainard, recently shared this drink and her story, sparking folks to reshake this for Joy, a lover of life and mezcal Last Words.Cheers Joy!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlmezcal
- ½ oz · 15 mlCampari
- ½ oz · 15 mlorgeat
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- 2 dashesorange blossom water
- pinch of salt
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.

No garnish, just joy.
