This reverse Manhattan was created by Turk Dietrich for Cure (@curenola; New Orleans, LA). The vanilla and orange notes of the vermouth are complemented by herbaceous Chartreuse and a spicy overproof rye. Aromatic bitters with a Christmas-spice vibe add warmth, creating a richer, smoother twist on the classic.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlsweet vermouth
- ½ oz · 15 mlrye whiskey
- ½ oz · 15 mlGreen Chartreuse
- 1 dashold fashioned bitters
- 1 dashtiki bitters
Method

Add all ingredients to mixing glass.

Stir with ice until chilled.

Strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora.
