This Jungle Bird riff is by Matthias Soberon (@servedbysoberon). I recently picked up these glasses and this recipe was calling for me to reshake it in them. This drink is essentially a Cognac Jungle Bird, where Soberon subs in pineapple liqueur for the juice. Ginger acts as a bridge between the cognac and biter Campari.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlcognac
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlCampari
- ½ oz · 15 mlpineapple liqueur
- 1 oz · 30 mlfresh lime juice
- ⅓–½ oz/ 10–15 ml. ginger syrup
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Add several ice cubes and shake until chilled.

Strain over fresh crushed or pebble ice.

Top with more ice.
- 5
Garnish with mint bouquet after slapping it to express oils.
