About
This cocktail was created in 2015 by Sam Ross (@samueljoelross) at Attaboy (New York City). It is an Old Fashioned at heart, just nudged in a funkier direction. Jamaican rum brings esters and a little edge, and banana liqueur sweetens the build with notes that lean closer to banana bread than candy. I’ve been trying to show that 2026 is the year of the banana, and this one makes a strong case for it.Cheers y’all!
