This cocktail was created by Donny Henderson (@donnyhendo) at ABV (@abvsf) in San Francisco. It drinks bright and breezy up front, but there’s a nice savory herbal depth underneath from the gin and Manzanilla. The little touch of Campari adds just enough bitterness, while the passionfruit brings tang and a subtle tropical edge. It’s the kind of drink that disappears faster than you expect.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlgin
- 1 oz · 30 mlManzanilla sherry
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlCampari
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lemon juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlpassionfruit syrup
Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into a glass over crushed or pebble ice.

Top with more ice.

Garnish with a lemon twist.
