This Paper Plane riff comes from Jean-Félix Desfossés (@jfdesfosses), which is really a mezcal twist on his original bourbon cocktail, the Little Wing. It covers a wide range of flavors: smoky, bitter, sweet, and sour. Bold, refreshing, and perfect for introducing someone to mezcal or pleasing those who already love it.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlmezcal
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlelderflower liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlAperol
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- 2 cucumber slices
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients including cucumber slices to shaker tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 4
Garnish with additional cucumber slice or ribbon.
