Originally from Cuba, the Mojito is a cocktail loved by so many across the world. Though it is popular, it can easily be butchered. A good mojito should be light and refreshing with a hint of mint that doesn’t overpower the unaged rum and lime. Lightly muddling your mint is key!Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mllight rum
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlsimple syrup
- 3–4 large mint leaves
- 2–3 oz/ 60–90 ml. soda water to top
- mint bouquet to garnish
Method

Add mint to glass.

Lightly muddle and press mint along sides of glass to release oils.

Add remaining ingredients.

Fill ⅔ with crushed or pebble ice.

Stir or swizzle to mix.

Top with soda water.
- 7
Add more ice.

Garnish with mint bouquet.
