This cocktail was created in 2008 by Brian Miller for Death & Co. (@deathandcompany). This riff on a French 75 is named after the Hitchcock film and appropriately uses some Northwest-ish spirits (Aviation gin and @stgeorgespirits absinthe).Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mldry gin
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlabsinthe
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lemon juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlsimple syrup
- 2 dropssaline solution
- top with champagne
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Strain into coupe or champagne glass.
- 4
Top with champagne.
- 5
No garnish (though I used a skeleton leaf).
