This cocktail was created at Blyth & Burrows (@blythandburrows) in Portland, Maine. Fernet and banana sound like they could easily overpower each other, but the lime keeps both in check. It is herbal, tart, and just fruity enough, with the minty side of the Fernet lingering after each sip.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlFernet Branca
- 1 oz · 30 mlbanana liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ⅓ oz · 10 mldemerara syrup
Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe.

Garnish with a mint leaf over the surface.
