About
This cocktail was created by Eric Alperin (@mralperin) at The Varnish in Los Angeles, CA. I found it in The Madrusan Cocktail Companion. It sits in that Last Word family tree, but with mezcal and Yellow Chartreuse it starts to drift toward Naked & Famous territory. The maraschino is dialed way back here, so you get the familiar herbal-citrus structure without it taking over. Agave syrup and saline help round everything out and keep the drink balanced.Cheers y’all!
