I came across this cocktail in The Madrusan Cocktail Companion by @michaelmadrusan and @zaramadrusan. Rather than a traditional French 75, it swaps in passionfruit syrup for a bright, tropical twist. Gin, passionfruit, and lemon work beautifully together. My partner loves Saturns, so he definitely stole this one from me after one sip. Topped with Champagne, it is bright, balanced, and effervescent.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlgin
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlpassionfruit syrup
- Champagne, to top
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.
- 3
Strain into a chilled coupe or Champagne flute.
- 4
Top with Champagne.
- 5
Garnish with a lemon twist (optional).
