This cocktail comes from Liholiho Yacht Club (@liholihoyachtclub) in San Francisco. I stumbled across it through Frederic Yarm (@fredericyarm), who found the recipe on some old online flashcards that appear to date the drink back to 2017. It drinks like a pineapple sour with Cynar, so you get bright tropical fruit up front with a darker, vegetal bitterness underneath.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlpineapple rum
- 1 oz · 30 mlCynar
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlpineapple juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lemon juice
Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe.

No garnish.
