About
I just picked up a new bottle for my home bar, which means it’s time to start putting it to work. I’ve been seeing this pineapple amaro from Heirloom Liqueurs (@heirloomliqueurs) around for a while, along with folks posting drinks with it, so I finally grabbed a bottle. I’ve been having a lot of fun mixing with it.
This recipe comes from their website and takes the classic Sidecar in a tropical direction. The amaro does something a typical pineapple liqueur can’t. A liqueur would push the drink too sweet, but the amaro brings pineapple along with some herbal depth and bitterness to keep things balanced.Cheers y’all!
