This cocktail is a twist on Ryan Magarian’s Pineapple Trainwreck. In this variation by Ebby Kurian, he swaps aged rum out for mezcal. This one, like the original, is a winner. A high quality spicy ginger syrup works wonders here.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlmezcal
- ½ oz · 15 mloverproof rum
- 1½ oz · 45 mlpineapple juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlginger syrup
- 1 dashAngostura bitters
- 1 dashPeychaud's bitters
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into glass over fresh ice.

Garnish with pineapple frond and maraschino cherry.
