About
This cocktail was created by Rick Munro (@shallow__water) of Malpractice (@malpractice.pdx) in Portland. Rick actually sent me this recipe almost two years ago, and somehow I am only now getting around to making it. There is a lot happening in the spec: Calvados brings apple into a split base of funky Jamaican rum, while a pretty substantial pour of Suze gives it that earthy gentian bitterness. Cocchi Americano and Ramazzotti round things out, with Angostura, cinnamon tincture, and saline adding a little more spice and depth around the edges. Definitely one of those recipes I should not have taken two years to get to.Cheers y’all!
