This Last Word riff was created by Abigail Gullo at Compère Lapin in New Orleans. The build is exactly same as a Last Word, but it is finished off with some sparkling wine. The bubbles from the cava tickle your nose, giving the cocktail its name.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlgin
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlGreen Chartreuse
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlmaraschino liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- 1–2 oz/ 30–60 ml. cava to top
Method

Add all ingredients except cava to shaker tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 4
Top with cava.
- 5
Garnish with lime twist or maraschino cherry.
