This cocktail was created by Isaiah LaBelle (@onesipclub) and me as part of the second round of the Pyramid Scheme challenge from @the.drunkbaker and @scottjamesteague. Our first riff drifted a little farther from the Potato Head rules than intended, so this time we stayed closer to the original structure with a clean one-for-one swap.
The name is a nod to both the challenge and that all-too-familiar “unpaid partnership” energy creators know a little too well. Somehow, it felt perfectly on theme for a Pyramid Scheme riff.
The rules are simple: swap one ingredient from this drink using the Potato Head method. Everything also has to come from a standard bar shelf.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mltequila blanco
- 1 oz · 30 mlblanc vermouth
- ½ oz · 15 mlAmaro Meletti
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlCampari
- 1 dashorange bitters
- orange peel oil
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.

Add ice and stir until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora.

Express orange peel oil over the surface.
- 5
Garnish with an orange twist.
