There are so many classic cocktails that need to be revisited and resurfaced. Simple ones that are delicious and straightforward. If you’ve never made a Honeysuckle, this is your sign. Is it a Daiquiri with honey? Or is it a Bee’s Knee with rum and lime? This one dates back to 1948 where it was published in David Embury’s, “Fine Art of Mixing Drinks.”Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mllight rum
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlhoney syrup
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Shake with ice until chilled.

Fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 4
Garnish with lime twist (optional).
