This cocktail was created by Coach Vino (@coachvinococktails) for his friend Tim Kirkland (@t1m_kirkland). Tim has been allergic to bananas for as long as Vino has known him, but recently discovered that banana liqueur is fair game. He has been going bananas with it ever since. The name also nods to the walnut bitters, while rye and Jamaican rum give the drink plenty of spice and funk beneath the banana.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlrye whiskey
- ½ oz · 15 mloverproof Jamaican rum
- ½ oz · 15 mlbanana liqueur
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlCynar
- 2 dasheswalnut bitters
- orange peel oil
Method

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.

Add ice and stir until chilled.

Strain into a rocks glass over large-format ice.

Express orange peel oil over the surface.
- 5
Garnish with an orange twist.
