This cocktail was created by Briana and Andrew Volk (@andrewmvolk) at Hunt + Alpine Club (@huntandalpine) in Portland, Maine. It has been on their menu since the beginning and is a great option when you want something light without skipping a cocktail altogether. Cocchi Americano brings a gentle bitter citrus note, while elderflower and soda keep it floral, crisp, and refreshing.Cheers y'all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlCocchi Americano
- 1 oz · 30 mlelderflower liqueur
- 2 oz · 60 mlsoda water, to top
- grapefruit peel oil
Method

Add Cocchi Americano and elderflower liqueur to a chilled glass.

Fill with ice.

Top with soda water and stir gently.

Express grapefruit peel oil over the surface.

Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
