About
This cocktail was created by Jon Nutter (@capt.creamcheese) at Attaboy in New York City as a riff on Ted Kilgore’s Industry Sour. It keeps the equal-parts structure of the original, but swaps Green Chartreuse for Yellow Chartreuse, lime for lemon, and simple syrup for ginger syrup. The softer, honeyed side of Yellow Chartreuse plays really well with the ginger, while Fernet-Branca brings plenty of minty bitterness and depth. Lemon keeps everything sharp and balanced, making this one of those deceptively simple four-ingredient drinks that works far better than it has any right to.Cheers y’all!
