This drink is by Elliott Clark (@apartment_bartender), and I found it in his book, “Let’s Do Drinks.” This one is named after what his college friends called the state of Arizona. I can’t say no to a whiskey tiki drink!Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlsmoky scotch
- ½ oz · 15 mlAncho Reyes chile liqueur
- 1 oz · 30 mlpineapple juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lime juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlorgeat
- ½ oz · 15 mloverproof aged rum, floated (optional)
- nutmeg to garnish
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Add a small amount of crushed ice and shake until chilled.

Dirty dump into a tiki mug or glass.

Top with crushed or pebble ice.

Float overproof rum (optional).
- 6
Garnish with mint bouquet after slapping it to express oils, pineapple fronds, and fresh nutmeg.
