This cocktail was created by Brett Adams and Jacob Grier and I found it in their book “Raising The Bar.” This drink is their take on a Bee’s Knees made with tequila. The addition of a foaming agent (egg white here, but use any kind), makes it so smooth. It’ll go down without a sting!Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mltequila
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlhoney syrup
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lemon juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lime juice
- 1 egg white
- Peychaud’s bitters to garnish
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Shake without ice (“dry shake”).
- 3
Add ice.
- 4
Shake until chilled.
- 5
Strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora.
- 6
Garnish with Peychaud’s bitters.
