This cocktail was created in 2023 by Wolf Alexander (@superwolf_) at The Varnish in Los Angeles, CA. It’s like a bitter Boulevardier, with rye bringing some spice to the Campari and Ramazzotti. The Ramazzotti adds its usual orange, cola, and baking spice notes, giving the drink a little more depth beyond the bitterness.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz · 45 mlrye whiskey
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlCampari
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlAmaro Ramazzotti
- orange peel oil
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.

Add ice and stir until chilled.

Strain into a rocks glass over large-format ice.

Express orange peel oil over the surface.

Garnish with an orange twist.
