About
This cocktail was created by Roger Scandela (@rogerreyscan) at Attaboy (@attaboy134) in New York City in 2023. It takes bourbon into tropical territory, with banana and pineapple adding ripe fruit against the whiskey’s caramel and oak. Lime gives it a bright snap, while the small measure of cane syrup rounds out the texture. This cocktail has since traveled beyond Attaboy, appearing on the menu at The Black Cat in Los Angeles while still crediting Roger.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlbourbon
- ½ oz · 15 mlbanana liqueur
- 1 oz · 30 mlpineapple juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlfresh lime juice
- 1 tsp · 5 mlcane syrup
Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe.

Garnish with a lime wedge (optional).
