About
The cocktail dates back to at least 1946, when it appeared in The Stork Club Bar Book. It is essentially a Jamaican rum Daiquiri with honey in place of simple syrup and a few dashes of Angostura bitters (thus, a Honeysuckle with bitters). The honey rounds out the rum’s funk, while the bitters add a warm spice note behind the lime.Cheers y’all!
