About
For Hispanic Heritage Month, I partnered with El Mexicano Tequila (@elmexicanotequila), a family-owned brand from Arandas, Jalisco, with a tequila legacy spanning more than 50 years. Their tequila is made 100% additive-free at Hacienda El Mexicano, making it a great choice whether you’re sipping it neat or building it into a cocktail like the Cantarito.
The Cantarito is a traditional Mexican tequila cocktail closely related to the Paloma. León Bañuelos Sr., co-owner of El Mexicano Tequila, helped popularize the cocktail through the modern-day clay Cantarito cup. Traditionally served in its namesake vessel, it brings together tequila, fresh citrus, and soda water for a bright, refreshing highball that is oh so crushable.Cheers y’all!
