About
This cocktail was created in 2025 by Jordan Hughes (@highproofpreacher) as part of his “New Week, New Old Fashioned” series. The name is also used for a different cocktail created by Sean O'Connor-Combes in 2022 that has made the rounds on social media, but this is a separate drink. Jordan shares a new Old Fashioned recipe each Monday, showing that the Old Fashioned is really just a template meant to be played with and personalized. Here, he takes the popular coffee-fueled Carajillo and turns it into a stirred sipper. I’m always craving coffee cocktails, but I don’t always want all that caffeine, and this one hits the perfect middle ground. Definitely worth a try!Cheers y'all!
