This cocktail was created by Jon Santer in honor of the 33rd U.S. President, Harry Truman. Santer was reading a biography on Truman where it mentioned he and his wife used to enjoy pours of bourbon each evening on their porch. This drink is reminiscent of a boozy sweet tea lemonade that’s perfect for the patio.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mlbourbon
- ½ oz · 15 mlpeach liqueur
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lemon juice
- ½ oz · 15 mlhoney syrup
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to shaker tin.
- 2
Add a small amount of crushed ice and shake until chilled.

Dirty dump into glass.

Top with crushed or pebble ice.
- 5
Garnish with mint bouquet after slapping it to express oils and lemon peel or wheel.
