This old fashioned inspired cocktail is by my friends Isaiah (@onesipclub) and Paul (@theaussiebartender). I love they used a split base here of rye and rum (more folks should try this). This is packed with wonderful notes of spice, banana, and chocolate.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 1 oz · 30 mlaged Jamaican rum
- 1 oz · 30 mlrye whiskey
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlbanana liqueur
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlsimple syrup
- 2 dashesAngostura bitters
- 2 dasheschocolate bitters
- nutmeg to garnish
Method
- 1
Add all ingredients to mixing glass.

Stir with ice until chilled.

Strain into rocks glass over a BFC.
- 4
Garnish with fresh nutmeg.
