This drink was created in 2007 by Toby Maloney, author of, “The Bartender’s Manifesto.” This is a spicy margarita that took a trip to Spain. Licor 43 is a yellow vanilla Spanish liqueur made with 43 different Mediterranean herbs.Cheers y’all!
Ingredients
- 2 oz · 60 mltequila blanco
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mldry curaçao
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlLicor 43
- ¾ oz · 22.5 mlfresh lime juice
- ¼ oz · 7.5 mlsimple syrup
- 7 dropshabanero shrub + 5 drops to garnish (I use Bittermens)
Method

Add all ingredients to shaker tin.

Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into glass over fresh ice.

Garnish with five drops of habanero shrub in center and lime wheel.
