About
This cocktail was created by cocktail enthusiast Todd Brant of Pasadena, California. Aged Barbados rum provides a round, mellow base while the overproof Jamaican rum brings plenty of funk. Cynar and Angostura add a darker, earthy bitterness beneath the tropical fruit and almond. I found this one through Frederic Yarm (@fredericyarm) at Cocktail Virgin, where the method is listed as stirred. Given the lime, pineapple, and orgeat, that may have been an error, so I shook mine.Cheers y’all!
