About
This cocktail was created in 2009 by Tim D. Philips (@timdphilips). It is a riff on the Bobby Burns, swapping the Bénédictine for Amaro Montenegro. The Montenegro brings a softer bittersweet orange and herbal note to the drink, which plays really nicely with the Scotch and sweet vermouth. The name is a nod to Montgomery Burns from The Simpsons, which also makes me like it even more.Cheers y'all!
